Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress, best famous for her role in Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. She was first known for the role she played in the 1980s film Tezaab where she co-starred with an established actor Anil Koopor. The next time she appeared on screen was Dil along with Aamir. In her early years, the Mumbai-born dancer began developing her skills at a young age. She ventured into acting as young and fought for several years because most of her initial films were flops. She found fame and became one of India's leading movie actresses. She decided to take a break from her profession after her wedding before returning to the entertainment industry. In recent times, she was in a prominent role as a character in Gulaab Gang. The film focused on the struggles of women across India. Dixit is nominated to win fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she was awarded eight. Padma Shri - the fourth most prestigious civilian award of India is awarded to Dixit. Her name is well-known for her charitable work as well.
