Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Paris France to British parents Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson, both lawyers. When she was a kid, she went to the Dragon School in Oxfordshire. Emma decided to be an actor at age six. Through the years she was enrolled in the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. She learned to sing as well as dancing, and also acting. As part of a school production and the stage of a Stagecoach Production, Emma was her role as lead actress at 10 and performed. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the 2001 adaptation from J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book was released in 1999. Emma was initially discovered as a casting representative by her Oxford drama teacher. David Heyman told Emma along with Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe after they all had eight consecutive auditions. Emma's first appearance on the big screen was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone which was released in 2001. It beat all previous records on opening day and weekend revenues, and was the top-grossing 2001 film. The critics were impressed by the performance of the film as well as its story. The Daily Telegraph, an important British newspaper, called Emma's performances "amazing". Emma's performance was nominated and won five awards later in the film.
